As the construction manager, Market & Johnson assisted the City of Eau Claire for several years with the conceptual design and site selection for this new fire station on the city's north side. Our firm worked closely with the city, Eau Claire Fire Department, and Five Bugles Design along with the city's purchasing and finance departments to assist in city council and committee approvals. The fire station is an 18,000 square foot facility with five apparatus bays with attached office, training and living quarters. The facility is built on a historical landfill and includes a soil vapor mitigation system.
