The Children’s Museum is a new two-story, 15,000 sq. ft. facility in downtown Eau Claire. The museum partnered with both Market & Johnson and Hoeft on this project. Market & Johnson was responsible for the structure and building enclosure/envelope, and then Hoeft was responsible for the interior finishes, MEPs, and exhibits. The exterior walls consist of decorative precast panels with a lot of glazing and natural light. The interior structure includes a unique look, comprising structural steel and decorative wood features.
