The West Salem School District project consisted of an addition along with a remodeling of the existing building. The addition included new classrooms, science labs, gymnasium, locker rooms, commons/cafeteria, kitchen, and miscellaneous educational support spaces. Athletic improvements for the district include a new running track, football field, tennis courts, baseball field, two-field softball complex and a new road connecting the district to the sports complex.
