This three-story structure has 24 pods, each pod has four student bedrooms to create a 96-student apartment style living facility. Each pod has a kitchen, living area, bathroom, and four bedrooms. The primary heat source for the entire facility is supported with a geothermal well system of 24 wells producing 24 tons of heating capacity for the in-floor heating system. Additional LEED design features of the facility include metal shingles with a 50-year warranty; low flow faucets, shower heads and toilets; and ceramic tile in the corridors, bathrooms and kitchens.
